I work with plaintiff and defense attorneys on obstetric, gynecologic, and neonatal cases. My goal is to quickly clarify what happened, where care aligned with standards, and where concerns may exist.

What I Offer

• Case screening & merit review

Focused review of key records to identify strengths, weaknesses, and red flags.

• Medical record review & organization

Organizing prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal/NICU, and perioperative records; noting missing or conflicting documentation.

• Timelines, chronologies & fetal monitoring review

Clear, event-based timelines that integrate nursing notes, provider entries, orders, medications, vitals, and electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).

• Issues & standards of care

Identifying potential deviations from nursing and obstetric standards, with reference to relevant AWHONN, ACOG, and evidence-based guidelines.

• Support for experts, depositions & trial

Helping refine issues, focus expert review, and develop practical questions for nurses, OBs, midwives, anesthesia, and neonatal providers.

Deposition and expert witness services are available on a case-by-case basis within my scope of practice.

• Suspected HIE and non-reassuring fetal heart rate tracings

• Emergency and urgent cesarean birth, and perioperative nursing care

• Postpartum hemorrhage and maternal morbidity

• Gynecologic and perinatal surgical care, including post-operative complications

• Maternal medical emergencies, such as pulmonary embolism, cardiac arrest, severe hypertensive crisis, and sepsis
